Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT)
At People, Places, and Dreams our goal to assist clients with Opioid Use Disorder and participants in MAT programs, including Suboxone and Subutex, Methadone, Vivitrol treatments, learn to find and increase ways to decrease symptoms associated with MAT, stay engaged in clinical services, support needs, encourage growth and stability, and reduce harm associated with addictive behaviors.
Our Recovery Houses accept MAT clients and support clinical services while providing a stabilizing aspect their world. Our Women’s Recovery Houses also accept children while mom is going through treatment and provided Peer Supportive Services in a supportive program designed to promote successful recovery.
Our Peer Supporters and Case Managers are all trained in MAT and Mental Health 101, for a full understanding on what the brain and body experience when trying to overcome Opioid Use Disoders. Our state Certified Peer Supporters are experienced in their own recovery and can model how to navigate what successful recovery looks like in action.
